Professional Relations Liaisons Announced For Nemours Children's Hospital

ORLANDO, FL - Nemours, one of the nation’s leading pediatric health systems, announced the addition of two professional relations liaisons, Georgia Jacobson and Gina DeFlippo, for Nemours Children’s Hospital (NCH).

The professional relations liaisons will be key points of contact for referring physicians concerning the new hospital and Nemours Children’s Clinic, Orlando. They will create relationships with area physicians, community health providers, and regional referral resources in an effort to better serve the children that come to Nemours for specialized care.

Jacobson most recently worked as a sales representative with Pfizer (formerly Wyeth) Pharmaceuticals and has been in the health care industry since 1999.  She has been a part of the Central Florida community since 2003, when she relocated from Ohio. Jacobson holds a Bachelor of Science from Bowling Green State University and has completed graduate work in business and education from the University of Toledo.

DeFlippo most recently worked with Sanofi-Aventis in Orlando and has been in the health care industry since 2002. She is also a registered nurse and served in St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. DeFlippo holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of South Florida.
