JACKSONVILLE, Fla – Nemours, one of the nation’s leading pediatric health systems, today announces the addition of Roni Socher, MD and Turkessa J. Walker, MD to the Nemours Children’s Clinic, Jacksonville. Dr. Roni Socher joined the Division of Pulmonology and Allergy in late July and Dr. Turkessa J. Walker joined on September 1.

Dr. Roni Socher most recently served as a fellow of pediatric pulmonary medicine at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, and is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Socher earned his medical degree from Tel Aviv University at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. He joins Bonnie Hudak, MD, Jason E. Lang, MD, David Schaeffer, MD and Kathryn E. Kinyon-Munch, ARNP in the division that provides pulmonology consultation, diagnosis, continuing care and therapy for infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of acute and chronic lung and airway diseases.
Dr. Turkessa J. Walker most recently worked as a fellow of Allergy and Immunology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, and has specialized training in pediatric advanced life support. Dr. Walker earned her medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She joins Sharon E. Leonard, MD, Jacob D. Schrum, MD and Kathryn E. Kinyon-Munch, ARNP in the division that diagnoses and treats all types of allergic and immune system conditions in children.
