Thanks to a $2.5 million gift from DuPont, a global company based in Wilmington, Delaware, and operating in 90 countries, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children has received a tremendous boost for its plans to expand into a new five-story patient care building. The gift was announced at a “Sky Breaking” event that marks the start of construction which will have all single-rooms for children and accommodations for families.
