Specialty Visits in Pensacola

For new patients

Ask your child's primary care physician to fax us a referral form.

If your child needs an appointment with a specialist, your child’s primary care doctor will begin the process for you.  The office will fax a referral form to the appropriate specialty area in the Nemours clinic.

After the referral has been received, a patient service specialist will forward it, along with your insurance information, to the pre-registration office. This office will verify your insurance and register your child in the clinic’s electronic chart system (EPIC).

The pre-registration office will then contact you by phone to make sure all the information from your primary care doctor’s office is correct.  If you cannot be reached, we’ll leave a message asking you to contact our office.  Once everything is confirmed, you will be transferred to the appropriate specialty department to have your child’s appointment scheduled.

You will receive a phone call to confirm, 3 days before your visit.
