A Phase II Trial of the Raf Kinase and Receptor Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor Sorafenib in Children and Young Adults With Relapsed/Refractory Rhabdomyosarcomas, Wilms Tumor, Hepatocellular Carcinoma, and Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma

What is the trial about?

To find out if sorafenib can stop your child’s tumor from growing or cause it to get smaller, for a period of time.

Who can participate?

> 24 months and < 21 yrs of age.

What is involved?

Length of study is 2 years. Standard cancer care including medical history; Physical exam; Blood tests; Urine tests; Pregnancy test; Scans of the tumor (CT, MRI, or MIBG scans).
