A Children’s Oncology Group Protocol for Collecting and Banking Relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Research Specimens

What is the trial about?

The purpose of this trial is to collect leukemia cells and normal blood cells and store them for use for future research studies.

Who can participate?

Children with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), whose leukemia may have relapsed (come back after treatment).

What is involved?

  • Once the leukemia and blood samples are obtained, your child will not have any additional procedures performed as part of this study. 
  • 1 teaspoon of extra bone marrow when the bone marrow test is performed and possibly about 1 extra teaspoon of blood.
