• Tariq Rahman, PhD - Dr. Rahman is Head of the Pediatric Engineering Research Lab (PERL) and is a senior research engineer at A. I. duPont Hospital for Children. PERL is dedicated to developing technology that helps children with manipulative and orthopedic disabilities such as muscular dystrophy and scoliosis. Dr. Rahman holds his undergraduate and graduate degrees in mechanical engineering. His interests are in rehabilitation engineering, robotics and biomechanics. He has published widely and is a recipient of numerous grants. He holds the position of research associate professor at Drexel University.
• Whitney Sample - Mr. Sample is the mechanical designer and manufacturer in the Pediatric Engineering Research Lab. He has over 10 years experience in rehabilitation engineering and industrial design
