The Institutional Biosafety Committees (IBC) at Nemours oversees the use of recombinant DNA, infectious agents, and biohazardous materials in the course of research. To assure proper oversight, Principal Investigators (PIs) must register their research projects with the IBC prior to funds being made available for the project.
