The DHSA was established in March 2009 with the focus on establishing innovative collaborations among experts in the medical practice, health economics and policy, population sciences, public health, and biomedical sciences and engineering.
Combining the priorities and assets of the member institutions (Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, Christiana Care Health System, Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Delaware), the Delaware Health Sciences Alliance will provide leadership in the improvement of health and health services to all Delawareans. The alliance also will provide a key element to the First State's economic future through the nurturing of research and the development of advanced technology.
