Nemours Biomedical Research provides educational opportunities at all levels of training. We are dedicated to the advancement of knowledge to improve the treatment of pediatric illnesses, and we have established educational initiatives to reach individuals with established careers, individuals who are in training, and individuals who are still considering their career paths. Education

Training and Fellowship Initiatives are offered for post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students, and those wishing to volunteer to help out.
The Nemours Symposia on Pediatric Medical Research are half- or whole-day events designed to keep physicians, researchers, caregivers, and families up-to-date on recent advances in our understanding of the mechanisms, treatment, and diagnosis of childhood diseases.
With the Seminar and Lecture Series, Nemours Biomedical Research brings in top researchers from around the world to present their recent findings during a one hour lunchtime session.
The Nemours Graduate Education and Research Program is affiliated with the University of Delaware Department of Biological Sciences as part of a Human Health Initiative. Students accepted for study in the Department of Biological Sciences have the opportunity to perform thesis/dissertation research in laboratories of research scientists at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. This will be of particular interest to students seeking to perform translational research linking basic science hypotheses to clinical problems.
