Muscle Enzyme Histochemistry and IHC Lab

The Muscle Enzyme Histochemistry and IHC Lab is part of the Department of Biomedical Research at Nemours. Located on the campus of the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, the lab provides diagnostic services for Muscle Enzyme Histochemistry and Immunodiagnostics.

The lab is CLIA certified and has been in continuous service since 1986 as part of the Histotechnology Core Lab. The Core offers a diverse list of histochemical stains for muscle tissue and provides a variety of immunofluorescent and immuno-histochemical testing for skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle and kidney biopsy testing.

The Muscle Enzyme Histochemistry Lab supports the Mission – Vision – Values of the Nemours, the duPont Hospital for Children and Nemours Biomedical Research.
