The Laboratory of Molecular Diagnostics is directed by Dr. Vicky Funanage. It is a C.L.I.A. certified facility that specializes in the molecular diagnosis of neuromuscular diseases including muscular dystrophy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Emery Dreifuss muscular dystrophy and Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease. Testing is also available for: Barth syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Pelizaeus-Merzbacher-Like Disease, Costello Syndrome, CFC Syndrome, Feingold Syndrome and Benign Hereditary Chorea.
