Children ages 12-17, who have well-controlled asthma, are wanted in a clinical trial to study the effectiveness of mobile devices in an effort to determine the lowest dosage of medication needed to maintain control.
At Nemours, we promise to do whatever it takes to treat children as we would our own. When your child comes to Nemours, we know you’re placing your trust in us. This trust and our dedication to improving the health of your child is what inspires us to provide exceptional care and the most satisfying experience possible.

We want to find out if using CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) while sleeping makes the breathing passages, or airways, less reactive in children with asthma. People with asthma may be sensitive to different things in the air that can cause a reaction of narrowing the breathing passages.
Participants who continue to meet eligibility criteria will be asked to use CPAP every night while sleeping for 12 weeks (starting after the second visit).
There are no costs involved in the study.
Participants can receive up to $600 for time and travel for completing all study visits and testing.
