The Division of Endocrinology at the Nemours Children’s Clinic, Pensacola provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to infants, children, and teens with type 1 and type 2 diabetes (as well as diabetes-related conditions and other hormone and growth disorders).
Serving children referred to us by primary care and family practice doctors throughout the Florida Panhandle and southern Alabama, our team of caregivers includes skilled and dedicated board-certified pediatric endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, a dietitian, and a diabetes educator. And we offer 24-hour physician coverage to ensure that your child’s medical needs are always met.
We also work with the adjacent Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital to provide a pre-diabetic screening program, a diabetes youth support group, and a weight control program for children with obesity. Patients requiring hospitalization are admitted to Sacred Heart – one of the many health care providers Nemours partners with to make it easy for your child to get Nemours’ quality of care at other convenient locations.
