The kidney specialists (nephrologists) at the Nemours Children’s Clinic, Pensacola, provide consultation, evaluation, and treatment for children with a wide range of kidney conditions.
In conjunction with Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, our team has developed an outpatient and inpatient dialysis unit to meet the needs of children who require hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. Patients requiring hospitalization are admitted to Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital.
The Division of Nephrology receives referrals from primary care and family practices in Pensacola as well as northwestern Florida and southern Alabama. We are also extensively involved in research activities to improve patient outcomes
