The Headache Program provides evaluation and treatment of chronic headaches and migraines at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/duPont Children's Health Program in the Delaware Valley.
The expert staff of the Headache Program will take a complete medical history and conduct a thorough neurological exam to explore the nature, duration, frequency, and possible triggers of your child’s headaches. Imaging studies of the brain may be ordered.
In addition to treatment with medication, educational sessions with a nurse and a psychologist are available to help your child manage all aspects of his or her headache syndrome and ultimately prevent future headaches.
