Scoliosis

At Nemours, we promise to do whatever it takes to treat children as we would our own. When your child comes to Nemours, we know you’re placing your trust in us. This trust and our dedication to improving the health of your child is what inspires us to provide exceptional care and the most satisfying experience possible.

See How We're Researching Scoliosis in Children

Nemours takes great pride in research — so that we can better serve children today and in the future with the most advanced treatments available.

  • Actively participate in prospective outcomes research aimed at improving care for kids everywhere with spinal deformities. We’re part of the Harms Study Group Foundation, Scoliosis Research Society, and the Chest Wall and Spine Deformity Research Foundation.
  • Work with our Center for Orthopedics Research and Development (CORD) to develop devices and methods that directly impact children all over the world. The Center's efforts are focused within the Pediatric Engineering Research Laboratory (PERL), where we work with biomedical engineers and students to research new devices that can assist and rehabilitate children with neuromuscular disabilities and orthopedic disorders.
