Judge Karen K. Cole

Judge Karen K. Cole of the Fourth Judicial Circuit is a past president of the Jacksonville Bar Association; a past president of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court; and a past chair of the statewide Family Courts Steering Committee. She serves on the national board of the nonprofit International Dyslexia Association, and in her community has organized free reading conferences featuring national dyslexia experts. She collaborated with the Jacksonville Bar Association to establish its interdisciplinary Literacy Speakers Bureau. Judge Cole has been recognized as "Lawyer of the Year" by the Jacksonville Bar Association and "Judge of the Year" by the Jacksonville chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and has been awarded the EVE Award in employment by The Florida Times-Union newspaper.
