Kim Kelling Engstrom

Kim Kelling Engstrom is the Director of Educational Services at WFSU-TV, a PBS member station in North Florida. She is the community face of the station, connecting families and educators to the wealth of educational content available through public media. 

For the past 10 years, she has overseen the development of teacher trainings, curriculum materials for schools and professional development opportunities for early childcare providers. 

In 2006, in partnership with the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Kim created SciGirls, a two week summer program designed to engage girls ages 9-16 in science. Kim serves on several advisory boards in the community including the Tallahassee Community College Foundation, the Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend and the Community Classroom Consortium. 

Nationally she is on the board of the National Educational Telecommunications Association Community Engagement Council.  Kim is married and has a teenage son.
