Moving Our Nationally Recognized Expertise From the Clinic Into the Community
Nemours BrightStart! programs take place in the community — in child care centers, schools and other locations where children and families gather. Every part of our program is designed to raise awareness about the warning signs of dyslexia and reading failure, and offer guidance to help prevent at-risk young learners from falling behind their peers.
Mobile Classrooms
Nemours BrightStart! uses three innovative, state-of-the-art mobile classrooms to increase our ability to bring awareness and services for early literacy success into the community.
The mobile classrooms provide a fun and safe space for Nemours BrightStart! educators to provide instructional services to identified preschoolers, as well as offer screenings to 4-year-olds within the community.
The Nemours BrightStart! mobile classrooms also help to facilitate and elevate awareness of dyslexia and other barriers to reading success. Families, civic and community leaders, child advocates, policymakers and thousands of visitors have toured our mobile classrooms and received information about Nemours BrightStart!, reading readiness, and dyslexia.

Literacy Screenings
Nemours BrightStart! offers early literacy screenings for pre-kindergarten children, beginning at age 4. Parents receive a booklet with helpful tips and information after the 10-minute screening. Call (877) 878-3118 for more information or to schedule a screening for your child. Get Details »
