NonProfit Purchasing Group of Delaware
NHPS is sponsoring the Nonprofit Purchasing Group of Delaware (NPGD), an organization managed by United Way of Delaware. In addition to computer hardware and software and office copiers and supplies, the NPGD website at www.npgd.org provides access to vendors offering online purchasing services and discounts on products that support healthy lifestyles, including:
- More than 25 suppliers offering vending machines and healthy snacks and beverages such as yogurt, dried fruit, multi-grain products, and bottled water—including Everyday Fruit, Newman’s Own Organic, Kettle Valley, and Hershey Imports
- Fruits and vegetables available through farmers’ markets, food co-ops like Newark Natural Foods, and 7 national supermarket chains like Acme, Safeway, and Superfresh
- Recreational and athletic equipment from footballs to cheerleading equipment through sporting goods vendors like the Sports Authority, Dick’s, Modell’s, and Sports Supply Group
