The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Delaware is a not-for-profit 501 (C) (3) agency founded in 1996 to facilitate the State of Delaware’s collaborative response to allegations of child abuse. The CAC opened its first center at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in May 1996 to serve New Castle County, and now provides services statewide through the addition of centers in Dover (Kent County) and Georgetown (Sussex County).
The mission of The Children’s Advocacy Center is to reduce the devastating long-term effects child abuse has on children, their families, and society through immediate, coordinated, child-focused services, education, and advocacy.
Our vision is a world without child abuse.
