The Child Life Activity Center provides patients and their families with a safe haven away from the chaos of the hospital. Medical procedures and exams are not permitted in the playroom. The Child Life Activity Center promotes growth and development while providing normal play activities for patients and families. Our Child Life Technicians are specially trained to provide safe and creative programming for our patients to enjoy.
The Activity Center is located on the third floor of the hospital and is available, free of charge, for the enjoyment of our patients and their families. Siblings and visitors under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult while they play. During the week, the Activity Center is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Weekend hours are Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
