Chaplains
Chaplains are health care professionals who have received training in care, counseling, and religious disciplines. Our chaplains come from a variety of religious backgrounds and are able to serve all families regardless of religious affiliation. The chaplain works with the health care team to ensure that your spiritual and emotional needs are addressed during your hospital stay. Some of our chaplains are hospital employees and others are volunteers, but they all have received the same level of education and clinical training.
Pastoral Care Trainees
During your hospital stay you may meet one of our pastoral care trainees. They are interns in our Clinical Pastoral Education program and provide pastoral care services to patients and families under the supervision of the Director of Pastoral Care.
Pastoral Volunteer Visitors
Pastoral volunteer visitors are lay people who volunteer to assist the pastoral care staff and trainees by providing compassionate, caring visits to patients and families. This dedicated group of volunteers receives ongoing training through the Pastoral Care Department.
