Rev. Bass-Riley

Rev. Bryan Bass-Riley

The Rev. Bryan Bass-Riley is the Director of Pastoral Care and the Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor at the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Bryan is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) with masters degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary (Divinity) and Neumann University (pastoral counseling). He is a certified pastoral counselor in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and a certified Diplomate supervisor in the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy.

Linda Branco

Chaplain Linda Branco

Linda Branco joined the duPont Hospital for Children in January 2008. She earned her Master’s degree in pastoral counseling from Neumann College in Aston, PA, and a youth ministry certification from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia. Additionally, she is enrolled in the hospital’s Clinical Pastoral Education program. When Linda’s children were young, she remembers experiencing the warmth extended to her family when she brought them to Nemours for treatment. Now, as a chaplain at Nemours, she is excited to help extend that same compassionate welcome to other children and families. In her free time Linda enjoys needlepoint, cross stitching, cooking, and baking.

Fr. Nash

Father James Nash

Fr. Nash was born in Wilmington, DE. After graduating from St. Mark’s High School in Wilmington, he attended the University of Delaware and received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. After several years of banking, Fr. Nash decided to receive a Master of Divinity degree from St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore. He was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood 1994. In addition to his work at duPont Hospital, Fr. Nash serves as the pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church and has served in other parish and diocesan positions within the Diocese of Wilmington. One of his greatest joys, and yet biggest challenges, is his ministry in our hospital. Fr. Nash hopes he can bring some hope and peace to families that are struggling with a child’s illness. He considers it a great privilege to bring the sacraments to the parents and children of our hospital.
