Eight-year-old Kyra was enjoying a riding lesson on a late fall day, when a head-first throw from her horse changed everything.
Thank you to everyone for helping make our fifth annual gala a tremendous success, raising $211,000 for the Trauma Center of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.
More than 670 guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing under a beautifully decorated tent. In the past five years this event has raised over one million dollars to support the Hospital.

We captured some wonderful moments from the gala's festivities. A professional photographer was on hand as everyone arrived dressed to the nines -- and cameras were clicking throughout the evening. One special highlight of the night was a compelling video about the hospital's Pediatric Trauma Program, Delaware's only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
