Volunteer Opportunities for High School Students
Our volunteer program is full for summer 2012, and we are no longer accepting requests for applications. We are truly grateful for the wonderful spirit of volunteerism from the community.
The Summer Program will significantly differ from our previous programs. Please read the information below carefully as our program structure has changed.
Our program will be divided into two sessions, each running for four weeks. If you are selected to be part of this year’s program, you can sign up for one of the following two sessions:
- The first 4-week session begins in June.
- The second 4-week session begins in July.
Students will sign up for one session and be required to volunteer two days per week for each of the four weeks. Students will not be allowed any vacation or other time off during their 4-week session.
Our summer volunteer program is geared to students interested in pursuing careers in health care or the allied health professions.
In order to apply, high school students must be at least 16 years of age by June 15 or have completed 10th grade.
