Understanding Our Patient Satisfaction Survey
Nemours measures patient satisfaction with an independent patient satisfaction company, Press Ganey. Based in South Bend, Indiana, Press Ganey works with 50 percent of all U.S. hospitals.
How does it work?
A survey is emailed to Nemours patient families within a few days of their appointments. The 34-question survey gathers feedback and comments regarding care. Feedback from 20,000 patients annually helps us improve our patients' experiences.
We post positive and negative feedback — only removing personal details. Comments are not edited for spelling or grammar. We don't post comments that are libelous, slanderous or profane, or that refer to an incorrect physician or department.
What if there is no rating displayed?
If there's no publicly available rating for a provider: 1) the doctor doesn't see patients or 2) hasn't yet received the minimum number of reviews (30) while with Nemours.
