What to Expect

Therapist with patient

This workshop will explore the dramatic role that collaboration can have — how care coordinators are essential to collaborative care, and how audiologists, speech language pathologists, social workers, psychologists, and deaf and hard of hearing teachers can all work together to improve outcomes for patients with hearing loss.

The workshop is ideal for audiologists, speech language pathologists, and deaf and hard of hearing teachers.

After this course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of a collaborative approach for hearing healthcare professionals and the impact it has on their patients
  • Rate their current and projected levels of confidence in a multidisciplinary team approach to hearing health care
  • Identify two ways that care coordinators can assist hearing healthcare professionals

This Event Is Supported by Cochlear

We thank Cochlear for their support in making this workshop possible. We appreciate their partnership in improving outcomes for children with hearing loss.
