We believe in the value of significant and meaningful research as a key component in fellowship training. As your training progresses, the research component will take on an increasing priority in the curriculum. Following an early and thorough review of research design, methodologies and related topics, you’ll be encouraged and supported in your own efforts in both basic science and clinical research.
You’ll have use of our state-of-the-art research facilities and resources, along with appropriate guidance from faculty and staff. Fellows and faculty teams have submitted multiple NIH grants.
Throughout your training you will be engaged in cutting edge research in Allergy and Immunology. The faculty is motivated and supportive of the fellows’ research and has ongoing projects that encompass many aspects of the field. We can tailor your fellowship research to include subject matter that may be of particular interest to you. We expect our fellows to be productive in research and to achieve at least two publications during their fellowship.
