A Phase 3 Study - Safety and Efficacy of Denosumab in Pediatric Subjects With GiOP

What is the trial about?

This study is being done to learn more about Denosumab in children with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis.  It will see if Denosumab has an effect on the amount of minerals (such as calcium) in your child’s bones and whether it causes any side effects.

Who can participate?

Any patient who is currently diagnosed with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis (a disease resulting from steroid treatment where decreased bone strength increases the risk of a broken bone). 

What is involved?

A medical history, medication history, body measurements and other assessments will take place during the trial. The assessment timeline will be provided during the initial discussion of the study.
