Please request medication refills at the time you make your appointment — requests may take 72 hours to complete. Prescriptions cannot be refilled if your child hasn’t been seen in our clinic in the past 6 months.
When calling for a refill, please include:

Growth hormone therapy requires prior authorization for a brand on your insurance drug formulary. Please notify your insurance company to find out what brand(s) is covered (preferred) with a prior authorization.

The team is led by Judith Ross, MD, a pediatric endocrinologist and the program's director. Dr. Ross is very well known in the field and has a vast amount of experience treating children with these conditions. In fact, she's devoted the greater part of her career to the study and treatment of X and Y chromosome variations. Her work with our eXtraordinarY Kids Program includes providing overall guidance concerning physical features, hormonal/endocrine issues and treatment, neurodevelopmental and genetic aspects, and any related medical concerns.
Because of the extensive research efforts of our dedicated physicians and scientists, children diagnosed with multiple endocrine disorders from around the United States and abroad are referred to Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. These kids often have complex medical conditions and seek the expert care and advice of our pediatric endocrinologists.
