Rodney A. McKendree, CPA: Vice President, Finance

Rodney McKendree was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He received his undergraduate and masters degrees in accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. In 1991 he earned the CPA designation.

Mr. McKendree joined Nemours in 1999 and serves as Vice President, Finance for Nemours.

He is responsible for leadership of the operational dimensions of the organization’s finance function, including the Central Business Office, Managed Care, Accounting, Budget, Materials Management, and Hospital and Practice Finance.

Before coming to Nemours, he worked nine years in public accounting with KPMG and two years with State Farm insurance.

Mr. McKendree is a member of Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He is a former member of the Baker County Development Commission having served after an appointment from former Florida Governor Lawton Chiles.

He lives in Macclenny, Florida, with his wife, Paula and their daughter, Reagan and son, Rhett. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and his children’s sports teams. He serves on numerous committees and board positions at Raiford Road Church in Macclenny.
