Nemours Executive Team

A 14-member Executive Team is responsible for leading Nemours. This team is overseen by a Board of Directors, and advised by Boards of Managers located in Florida and Delaware.

David J. Bailey, MD, MBA

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Bailey has sharpened Nemours’ strategic focus and concentrated its investments on four overarching goals: Care for children as we would our own; be a leader in improving children’s health through Nemours’ integrated system; be a great place to work; be effective stewards of all of our assets, continually improving them to advance Nemours’ Mission.

R. Jay Cummings, MD, became a Vice President in 2006, joining the Executive Team of Nemours. He was appointed Chief Medical Officer for Nemours in Florida in 2015 and his medical leadership role includes responsibility for Nemours locations in Jacksonville, Orlando and Pensacola.
