Nemours Executive Team

A 14-member Executive Team is responsible for leading Nemours. This team is overseen by a Board of Directors, and advised by Boards of Managers located in Florida and Delaware.

David J. Bailey, MD, MBA

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Bailey has sharpened Nemours’ strategic focus and concentrated its investments on four overarching goals: Care for children as we would our own; be a leader in improving children’s health through Nemours’ integrated system; be a great place to work; be effective stewards of all of our assets, continually improving them to advance Nemours’ Mission.

Chief Executive of Nemours Florida Operations

As Chief Executive of Nemours Florida Operations, Mr. Bridges is responsible for all clinical operations at Nemours Children's Hospital and Nemours Children's Clinics. In addition, he is responsible for financial leadership and management accountability for the business.

Roy Proujansky, MD

Chief Executive of Nemours Delaware Valley Operations

As Chief Executive of Delaware Valley Operations, Dr. Proujansky is responsible for all clinical operations at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and Nemours duPont Pediatrics. In addition, he oversees all patient care, research, prevention and education activities in the organization.

Senior Vice President, General Counsel

In 2009, Mr. Sparks was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. His responsibilities include overseeing the legal needs of the organization, overseeing the audit and compliance functions, and overseeing government relations for the State of Florida.

Dr. Cummings was appointed Vice President in 2006, joining the Executive Team of Nemours. This medical leadership role includes responsibility over Nemours Children’s Clinic throughout Florida, with major locations in Jacksonville, Orlando and Pensacola.
