The Nemours Children’s Clinic is a multispecialty pediatric group practice with locations in four states, seeing patients from across the U.S. and from around the world.
In Pensacola, the Nemours Children’s Clinic is affiliated with Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital and offers primary care physicians and families a much needed resource for children with complicated health issues. Through all of our pediatric divisions, Nemours is the primary provider of pediatric specialty services in northwest Florida and south Alabama.

Advancing diabetes education
Our Endocrinology specialty obtained American Diabetes Association recognition for their pediatric Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) program.
Pioneering cardiac care
Our Cardiology division was granted accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL). The Nemours lab is one of the first 1,000 echocardiography labs in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico to be recognized for its commitment to high-quality patient care and is one of only six accredited pediatric and fetal echo labs in the state of Florida.
Helping more children with cancer
With assistance from Nemours physicians, there is now a Hematology/Oncology Pediatric Unit specially dedicated to children with cancer. The Thomas Jenkins Pediatric Oncology Unit, located at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, is named after Dr. Jenkins, a Nemours Hematologist/Oncologist.
