Protecting the Privacy of Your Child and Family
When you visit a Nemours pediatric hospital, specialty clinic, and/or primary pediatric office, we create a record of the care and services we provide. This not only helps us give your child the highest quality pediatric care, it’s required by law that we do so.
We protect this medical information as outlined by the state laws and the federal privacy rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
