Why Choose Us
At Nemours duPont Pediatrics, Rockland Road, we see pediatric patients for primary care needs such as well-child checkups, sick visits and immunizations. We want to be your child's medical home within the hospital, so our practice provides well-coordinated, quality care with expanded hours for your convenience. Our services include:
- lactation consultation
- integrated psychology
- care for children with special and/or complex needs
- kids in foster care(partnering with Delaware’s Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families to offer a medical home to foster children)
Our office is located at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, which means you and your child have immediate access to on-site:
- laboratory services
- outpatient pharmacy
- radiology (X-rays)
- specialty care
- therapies (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech & language, feeding & swallowing)
A parent or legal guardian must accompany your child for the first visit. If a legal guardian rather than a parent accompanies your child, the guardian must bring guardianship and custody papers for your child to be seen.
