Nemours Obesity Prevention Showcased as National Model
Nemours’ obesity prevention work is being praised as a national model by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Innovations Exchange. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s Health Care Innovations Exchange is a web-based program designed to support health care professionals in sharing and adopting innovations that improve health care quality. The Office of the Vice President of Policy and Prevention at Nemours is working to spread innovative policy and practice work nationally by leveraging child health expertise and models. AHRQ invited Nemours to produce four briefs highlighting the work of Nemours Health & Prevention Services, focusing on the overall statewide obesity prevention strategy for Delaware, as well as strategies in primary care, child care and schools.
