Nemours’ Spinal Dysfunction Program uses a team approach to evaluate and treat children and adolescents with spinal problems and many different conditions that involve the spinal cord.
Conditions we treat:
- spinal cord injury
- trauma or sports injuries to the spine
- cervical spine disorders, affecting the very top of the spine
- sacral agenesis, also known as caudal regression syndrome, a condition that affects the sacrum, or base, of the spine
- transverse myelitis, a disease of the covering of the spinal cord
- tumors
