Biography

Erica Del Grippo, DO is an acute care cardiologist at the Nemours Cardiac Center. She is an assistant professor at Sidney Kimmel Thomas Jefferson University. She is the Director of the Single Ventricle Program at Nemours, the Program Director of the Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship and the clinical champion for both PAC3 and NPCQIC. Dr. Del Grippo received her bachelor's degree at Villanova University. She was a pediatric resident at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, DE. She then moved on to pediatric cardiology fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital for Children. Her research goals include: readmissions on the cardiac acute care unit, interstage reinterventions and single ventricle tube wean feedings. Dr. Del Grippo also works with the cardiac ICU team to help facilitate Quality and safety among transfers to the acute care unit.
