Biography

Cassondra (Cassie) Brown, MS, CCRC, is an experienced Clinical Trials Manager at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware, with over a decade of dedicated work in clinical research, particularly in skeletal dysplasias and rare genetic disorders. She holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ursinus College. Cassie began her career as a research assistant in 2015 and has steadily advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including Clinical Research Coordinator and Interim Clinical Trials Manager. She is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) and an active member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals since 2017. Her work has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and international research collaborations, particularly in achondroplasia, osteogenesis imperfecta, and other skeletal dysplasias. She has coordinated a wide range of clinical trials sponsored by leading pharmaceutical companies and has presented at international conferences. Cassie's research goals include: advancing therapies for children with skeletal dysplasia; expanding understanding of the natural history of certain dysplasias; and improving the quality of life of each research patient under her care.
