Dr. Buckloh is a clinical child/pediatric psychologist, specializing in working with children and adolescents with complex, chronic medical issues. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Kansas in 1998. Her main research interests center around the psychological adjustment in youth with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Her clinical interests include psychological assessment and treatment of pain, medical regimen adherence problems, anxiety, incontinence, GI problems, diabetes, tics, disorders of sex development, and transgender issues.
