Biography

Dr. Fedele earned his bachelor's degree in psychology at Florida State University and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Oklahoma State University. He completed his predoctoral internship training and a T32 postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. At Nemours, Dr. Fedele is a principal research scientist and program director within the Center for Healthcare Delivery Science and Center for Pharmacogenetic and Translational Research. His program of research is focused on improving the health of youth diagnosed with a chronic illness and their families by developing innovative methods to optimize health behavior change and reduce barriers to disease management. His current work focuses on implementing technology-based interventions to promote self-management and access to care in youth diagnosed with asthma and cystic fibrosis. Dr. Fedele is also a licensed psychologist and board certified in clinical child and adolescent psychology.
