The Nemours Children's Biomedical Research Core Laboratories offer highly specialized equipment, techniques, and staff expertise to internal and external researchers and clinicians. These resources can be accessed by many users and are applicable to multiple pediatric laboratory experiments and studies.

The labs are equipped with up-to-date, sophisticated equipment, and run by highly trained, experienced research professionals who can generate and interpret the wealth of data available.

Pediatric Research: Bioinformatics Core Facility

Our Core Lab offers researchers specialized network and computing resources, support, training, biostatistics, data analysis, and data management.


Pediatric Research: Biobank and Molecular Analysis Program (BMAP)

The Biobank and Molecular Analysis Program (BMAP) is an enterprise-wide, state-of-the-art facility that houses a tissue biorepository as well as a wet lab specializing in molecular biology instrumentation and methodologies. BMAP provides services to the clinical and research staff at Nemours and external collaborators.


Pediatric Research: Cell Science Core Lab

The Cell Science Core assists researchers at Nemours and affiliated institutions in cell science, proteomics and separation of proteins and small molecules.


Pediatric Research: Histochemistry and Tissue Processing Core Lab

The Histochemistry and Tissue Processing Core is a full service histology laboratory located at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware.
