We give you timely, accurate, and family-friendly information so you can be an advocate for your child.
Respect & Dignity
We listen to and honor your family's culture, perspectives, and values in planning and delivering your child's care.
Office of Health Equity and Inclusion
Our mission is to improve care and patient satisfaction, while being respectful and mindful of each family's specific opinions and needs based on their race, ethnicity, language and socioeconomic status.
Pastoral care staff and volunteers are trained to respect the religious commitments of all of our families, as well as those who do not identify with any particular religion — providing comfort and support as you cope with your child’s illness and hospital stay.
We provide foreign language interpreters (and Sign Language interpreters whenever possible). We strive to provide translated forms, educational materials and signs as available, in order to communicate more effectively with our patients and families. Learn More »
