Get to Know Me
I attended Elon University, where I played 4 years of collegiate soccer. I earned my degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic training and obtained my certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. I then attended UMDNJ/Seton Hall, where I earned my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies.
I am the proud mother of three and cherish watching them play sports and grow into young adults. In my free time, I enjoy boating, the beach, and downhill skiing.
Why I Treat Children
I chose to work in pediatric orthopedics because it allows me to combine my love of sports medicine with the opportunity to care for children during important stages of their growth and development. As a former collegiate athlete and certified athletic trainer with advanced training as a physician assistant, I bring a unique perspective to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of pediatric musculoskeletal conditions.
What I'm Passionate About
I am passionate about helping children achieve their highest level of function and return to the activities that they love. I believe in providing compassionate, individualized care while building meaningful relationships with my patients and their families. I am dedicated to educating families, supporting young athletes' injury recovery and promoting lifelong habits that keep children active and healthy.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I value building trusting relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the healing process, and helping each child safely return to the activities that they enjoy. It is especially rewarding to see children regain their strength, confidence, and ability to participate in sports and everyday life.
