Get to Know Me

I have been a practicing PA since 2022. I started in adult orthopedics before my career here at Nemours. I grew up in a small, rural town in New Jersey before going to Boston for my schooling. I then moved back to NJ to work and then to Delaware when I started with Nemours.

My hobbies include reading, singing, hiking, and spending time with my many pets and my wonderful husband. We also foster kittens! My favorite sport is baseball. One of my favorite places to be is the beach. I also am continuing to learn American Sign Language in order to better serve our Deaf/HOH patients/community.

Why I Treat Children

I started my career working in adult orthopedics and saw many conditions that begin in childhood or are missed in childhood and lead to more problems as an adult, such as missed hip dysplasia. I have always wanted to work with children and jumped at the chance to be on this amazing orthopedic team. I have been here since 2023 and helping my patients get back to doing what they love is so incredibly fulfilling. I can’t imagine doing anything else!

What I'm Passionate About

I am part of our hip team here at Nemours — I see a variety of hip/lower extremity conditions. One of my favorite parts of the job is treating babies with developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH).

I was Miss Delaware Volunteer in 2024 and gave back to the community through my service initiative, which was battling social determinants of health in children, which I see every day. It is so crucial that children have equal opportunities for health care and wellness.

How I Try to Make A Difference

I try to make each family member feel cared for and listened to when they come to see me in the office. As already mentioned, I was Miss Delaware Volunteer and gave back to the community while I held the title. I also continue to participate in volunteering and community events to give back.
