Terry Timmons is Nemours Children’s Interim Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Executive Cabinet, reporting to Nemours President and Chief Executive Officer, R. Lawrence Moss, MD.
Terry brings nearly 30 years of professional experience in human resources to this role, including senior recruiting positions with ChristianaCare Health System, MBNA America, and W.L. Gore & Associates before joining Nemours in 2004. Most recently she served as AVP, Talent Acquisition and HR Solutions for Nemours.
During her 20 years with Nemours, Terry has held several HR leadership roles through which she has driven enterprisewide efforts that have integrated data analytics and technology to improve efficiency throughout the talent lifecycle. Her unwavering commitment to continuous improvement has led to identification of opportunities for improving processes, implementation of recommendations, and innovative programs that strengthen our organizational culture and enrich the talent development function at Nemours.
Terry has built and fostered professional relationships within and outside the organization for sourcing and networking to acquire, develop and retain qualified, diverse candidates to advance Nemours goal of providing the best children’s health care in the nation to build the healthiest generation of America’s children.
Terry holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Wilmington College. She is a member of the American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration and the Society of Human Resource Management. In 2021, Terry completed the prestigious Willis Tower Watson’s Cornerstone Human Resources Executive Program.
Terry lives in Wilmington, Del., with her husband Brian and their two daughters.
