Terry Timmons is the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Solutions for the Nemours Children’s Health System. She manages the primary relationships with senior executive and administrative leaders across the enterprise to acquire and retain top talent for Nemours.
Terry has more than 24 years of professional experience in human resources, including senior recruiting positions with Christiana Care Health System, MBNA America, and W.L. Gore & Associates before joining Nemours in 2004 as a human resources business partner. She served as a senior physician recruiter and manager of talent acquisition for the Delaware Valley before assuming her current role in 2015.
Terry leads and supports the high-functioning talent acquisition team that sources, recruits and brings exceptional associates to Nemours. She has driven the integration of data analytics and technology to improve efficiency in managing the strategic and tactical details of recruiting, hiring, onboarding and retention. Terry’s commitment to continuous improvement has led to identification of opportunities for improving processes, implementation of recommendations, and innovative programs that enrich the talent development function at Nemours. She actively collaborates in systemwide initiatives involving cultural change.
During her 16 years with Nemours, Terry has built and fostered professional relationships within and outside the organization for sourcing and networking to acquire, develop and retain qualified, diverse candidates to advance Nemours goal of providing the best children’s health care in the nation to build the healthiest generation of America’s children.
Terry holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Wilmington College. She is a member of the American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration and the Society of Human Resource Management.
Terry lives in Wilmington, Delaware, with her husband Brian and their two daughters.
