Get to Know Me
I’m originally from upstate New York. As a child, I already knew I wanted to be a doctor. After completing my pediatric training, I moved to Vero Beach for the year-round sunshine. That’s where I met my husband, and now we have three sons and a daughter. After having my own children, the practice of pediatrics took on a whole new meaning.
Why I Treat Children
During my pediatric rotation I was instantly drawn to the impact of treatment on pediatric patients, whether infants or adolescents. After 18 years of practice I continue to enjoy seeing and treating the vast variety of medical conditions in this age group, while building life-long relationships with families.
What I'm Passionate About
I’m extremely passionate about my family. We have three sons and one daughter. Chandler, our oldest son, currently serves in the U.S. Navy. Zander and Tyler play travel baseball and participate in school sports while maintaining academic excellence. Katelyn dances competitively for a local dance studio. My own children and my nieces and nephews, along with my education, have inspired me to be the thorough and diligent pediatrician I am today. I feel grateful to be able to pass on this passion for the care of children to my patients not only as a doctor, but also as a mother.
Make A Difference
Being in a small town, I choose to seize the many opportunities offered to form deeper bonds with my patients and patient families. Having the chance to know families on multiple levels, including treating in the office, as well as at school functions, church and other community events, has allowed me to be a better doctor not just in the office, but also in the community. Being connected in this way allows me to provide exceptional care for the children in our community.
