Get to Know Me

I am a hematologist/oncologist at Nemours Children's and a clinical assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University's Sidney Kimmel Medical College.

Why I Treat Children

I’ve always known that I wanted to take care of children who have a serious illness. I find that it is a true honor to take care of these patients and walk alongside their families during this difficult time. Children are incredibly resilient and despite all that they are going through they still find a way to smile. They are inspiring.

What I'm Passionate About

I’m passionate about taking care of patients and providing them with excellent care. The field of oncology is exciting and ever-evolving. Through research, significant advancements have been made in how we treat children with cancer and have led to improved outcomes for many disease types. I look forward to seeing how treatment continues to evolve over my career and the positive impact it will have on patients and families.

How I Try to Make A Difference

I feel that I make a difference in the lives of patients and families by the compassionate care I provide. Undergoing cancer treatment can be incredibly scary. I believe that it is important to listen, be present and always be honest. I work closely with our psychosocial team at Nemours to support patients and families during this difficult time.
